Wild Turkey Invasion

And there they Go...

I counted 32 this visit. They were close to the house a few minutes ago and of course the battery died in my camera....didn't take long before their bellies were full and they were running across the field again.

Besides eating all the Sunflower seeds in the yard, these wild turkey's have discovered their reflection in the truck bumper and they can't get enough of themselves!!

  2. Andrea, I had Pekin Ducks that loved to look at themselves in the chrome bumper of my husband's van. Gotta love the birds!!

  4. Too funny with the reflections, LOL
My daughter lives about 1/2 mile from us and there are wild turkeys in her area too - but I've never seen them in our own area. Once in a while you'll see a deer walking down the middle of the street though - we live in the City.

  5. I dearly love seeing wild turkeys! They always give me such a thrill, probably more than seeing any other wildlife.

  6. Not sure if turkeys come in flocks, gaggles, covies or what, but it must have been quite impressive to see at least 32 of them all together.

  7. Oh, I love the turkeys posting, aren't they hilarious??? It is fun to gobble back and forth with them.

I am enjoying browsing through your postings. We're almost neighbors (when we're in Maine) and I would love to visit sometime.

    Let's keep in touch,
