I was just about to bring one of my freshly baked zucchini breads over to the neighbors when I decided it needed a little "something". So I snipped off a tansy leaf and turned it into a stencil~ Sprinkled on some powdered sugar & now they are Pretty too :)

Zucchini Bread
My name is Andrea Mengel and I live with my family in the hilltown of Huntington Massachusetts. Our 1783 saltbox home sits on 20 beautiful acres of fields and woodlands that we enjoy tremendously! Here I get inspired to make all the goodies that I sell at the ~The Crow's Nest Primitive Shoppe~

Wonderful blog update.
ReplyDeleteThe powdered sugar stencil really dresses up the zucchini bread, now they look prettier than a high-end, gourmet bakery's expensive tea bread. And you know that yours is fresher, with finer ingredients and far more flavor. What a fortunate neighbor !
I just ate a huge piece from one of the breads~ Looks like I'll be keeping that one :)
ReplyDeletelove, love the stencil~~looks great! Have you tried adding chocolate chips to your zucchini bread? Delicious!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea!! I have to try your recipe!!
