White Sage

I'm growing White Sage this year to dry and make into Smudge bundles.
Smudging is a Native American tradition of "Clearing Negative Energy"
I'll post them when they are ready to burn~

Scooby

Thank-You~ to everyone that sent us positive thoughts & prayers for our Sweet Scooby.
Sadly, he passed away today and we are heartbroken.
But we are so grateful to have been blessed with such a wonderful companion~ We love him & will miss him terribly~
Thank you again, your compassion was a comfort to us and we let Scooby know how much people (strangers even) wished him well~

Tomato Leaf Soy Candles

When a wholesale customer of mine asked me to make her Tomato Leaf candles I thought that was the strangest request...but now that I've made them, I can understand~
WoW! They really smell like you just brushed up against a fresh tomato plant. I can't keep my nose out of the jar~ Of course I've been going around the shop, shoving a jar under everyone else's nose saying "can you believe it?! It smells just like a tomato plant"

Now these candles are a MUST in my Gardener's Gift Basket :)

Purple Pansies and Parsley

We found this rusty bowl-thing when we were digging for the pumpkin patch and I thought it would be a neat planter~

Here's some Purple Pansies and a Parsley plant (say that 3 times) I had bought at the grocery store way back in March. I just stuck everything in this rusty bowl and now it's our outdoor table centerpiece

Pineapple Mint & Sage

Here's the Pineapple Mint that I was talking about~ I'll be cutting & drying these plants all summer to sell this Fall

And Here's the Sage~

Gardener's Gift Basket

I had to make a Gardener's Gift basket to ship to New Jersey and thought I'd take a picture~
The Pineapple Mint that's surrounding the basket is absolutely Gorgeous this Year! These don't always do so well...

In this picture the Gardener's Gift basket is next to some blooming Sage~~ Real pretty this time of year :)

Peonies and Tinkerbells

I just went outside to set the table for supper when I noticed the Peonies in bloom~ There are Sooo many buds this year I figured I could snip a few and no one would notice :)

Here's the bouquet I just made. They go so nicely with the Tinkerbell Lilacs that are late bloomers~ The Smell is Heavenly!!!

In a few days I'll take this entire bouquet, rubber band it and hang it to dry. The Peonies are a great addition to my Cottage Garden Potpourri~

Scooby

Our Sweet, Sweet, Scooby has just been diagnosed with liver failure.
