Just harvested these "late" Pink Peonies~ All of these blooms are from only 2 plants (and there's over 40 left) that are growing on the north side of the house so they bloom much later than the other peonies. I'll make bouquets with most of them and dry the rest~
Mmmmmmm they smell Wonderful!!

Late PEONY Harvest

My name is Andrea Mengel and I live with my family in the hilltown of Huntington Massachusetts. Our 1783 saltbox home sits on 20 beautiful acres of fields and woodlands that we enjoy tremendously! Here I get inspired to make all the goodies that I sell at the ~The Crow's Nest Primitive Shoppe~

Hi Maggey~
ReplyDeleteYou can bunch a few peonies together and hang them to dry or lay them flat to dry. The key is drying them before they open up too much and fall off the stem. You also want to make sure they aren't in a damp area or else they tend to brown~ Have Fun!!
